We appreciate that many of you may be sceptical about buying online and so in the paragraphs below we hope we have answered any questions you may have about how the process works.
1: Currency
All prices on this web site are shown in pounds sterling (£). Payments will be made in pounds sterling and your credit card provider will charge sales in your local billing currency (this may include a small fee).
2: Prices
We reserve the right to amend prices without notice. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, our suppliers may change their prices and secondly due to the way in which new models and prices are launched. Details of new models are available well before the models are launched and their prices are set. In order to make new models available for sale as soon as possible, we often have guess what their price will be. Once set, we don't often have to change a price but we reserve the right to do this.
3: Payments
We only accept online payments by credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, & Electron) through our secure server. This method assures you of security and confidentiality: Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch but we will not debit your account until we are ready to delivery your order. If you wish to make a purchase and pay by cheque or postal order please contact us by email, telephone or fax.
4: Order Confirmation
We will send you confirmation of your order details by email.
5: Shipping and Delivery
For UK deliveries the price quoted on the payments page is the price of the goods including delivery to the stated destination. For non UK delivery destinations, delivery charges are not included in the price quoted on the payments page. We will inform you by email of delivery cost and expected delivery time and obtain your agreement to finalise your order.
6: Warranties/Guarantees
In addition to the provisions of current UK consumer protection legislation, we will honour the full manufacturers' warranty on any product that we supply. Furthermore, we will replace any goods that we consider to be of unmerchantable quality.
7: Quality of Goods, Fitness for purpose
The goods we supply are original manufacturers stock suitable for the purposes described on this website and in the manufacturers literature (if any), provided that the equipment/goods are used in accordance with any instructions supplied and in accordance with good and normal practice.
8: VAT
Prices shown are inclusive of VAT (UK Value Added Tax). VAT will be charged on all sales to residents of the EU. VAT will be refunded on sales shipped to non EU buyers. We will inform you by email if any VAT is to be refunded.
9: Duties and Local Taxes
If local taxes and/or duties are due, you will receive a separate invoice from the carrier. Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of the destination country.
10: Damage in Transit
If you do receive damaged goods please retain all relevant documentation so that we can make a claim against the carrier's insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as "Damaged package; goods not yet inspected" or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming.
11: Returns and Refunds
If you receive goods in damaged condition or you deem as of unmerchantable quality, you must notify us by post, email or by telephone within 7 days of receipt of the goods. You should then return the goods to us post-paid. On inspection and verification of your claim, we will arrange a credit or refund (whichever you prefer) of the full purchase price paid for the goods. Please note that the refunds will normally be made using the same method as the original payment (i.e. a credit card purchase will be refunded to your credit card account). This may take up to fourteen days to process.
12: Goods Not Available For Shipment
Although we endeavour to keep reasonable stocks of all of our products, it may be possible for some goods not to be in stock at the time you place your order. In the event that we cannot ship your goods within 28 days of your order we will contact you by email to advise you on the situation.
13: Confidentiality
We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We will never supply your personal details to any third party. Any other information supplied to us may be stored on our computer system for our convenience, but will never be supplied to any outside agency.
14: Statutory Rights
Our terms and conditions in no way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
15: Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction
All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to English legal processes and under the jurisdiction of English Courts.
